Bertie is a very kind, genuine horse. He is very easy to hadle, good with vet, farrier etc. He lives in or out, alone or in company. He works very sweetly in the school in a lovely outline. He will pop a jump no problems but is not a jumping horse. He hacks alone or in company and has never bucked, reared or bolted. He is a thouroughbred however, and can sometimes get on his toes a little, but only momentarily. But therefore he is not a novice ride.
Bertie was sold earlier this year to the first person that saw him, but unfortunately failed a vetting on a hind flexion test. He is sound when ridden, but is priced to sell at £950

13.2hh Native Schoolmistress available 3-4 days a week/potential full loan
We have a lovely 13.2hh New Forest pony available to ride 3-4 days per week. A gorgeous confidence giving pony who has been used for all Pony Club activities, always looking after her jockey, whether experienced or not. She has given my daughter immense confidence over the last 2 years, but she is now sadly outgrown and so needs to find a smaller jockey to continue to have fun with. She has absolutely no vices whatsoever, is a really loving good fun character, who loves fuss and attention. She is exactly the same whether ridden every day, or once a month. Ideally suited to someone up to 5' tall and 9 stone in weight. She is kept at our home with currently only one other horse in the Stoney Cross area with the most fantastic outriding. We will require a financial contribution towards her keep and farrier. Potential for a full loan may be possible at the end of the Summer. References and a trial period will be sought.

KERRY BOG PONY VERY RARE IDEAL CHILD'S PONY

Kerry Bog Ponies are small, hardy native ponies originally used in Ireland to bring peat in from the bogs, take milk to the creameries and do general haulage work. Their numbers became dangerously low, but have now climbed to some 400 registered on the database, and have their own passports administered by Horse Sport Ireland. They are strong, kind and laid back, and are steadily gaining in popularity. We exhibited at Your Horse Live, and hope to be at the Horse of the Year Show this year.
