I am looking for someone to offer this 20 year old mare a loving home and quieter life as a light hack or companion horse.
She is a truly friendly, genuine and confidence giving mare. She will do you no harm and in the year I have had the privilege to keep her she’s not spooked once.
She would suit someone who has good all round experience as she is a forward ride and can sometimes jog a little but honestly she will boost your confidence if it’s lacking presently, especially hacking alone as she does this happily and confidently in her own company. Again a confident horse in any sort of traffic.
This is a genuine sale due to no longer being able to financially support two ridden horses in livery. I’m asking for a very small contribution to safe guard this horse from those wanting a free horse to sell on. No time wasters either please!
She comes with tack and full set of shoes, she is fully vaccinated and appropriately wormed against the seasonal worms. Minimal dental work done Jan 2016, next annual check due Jan 2017.
It is important to highlight she will on a few occasions have small episodes of lameness from the fetlock joint, this only happens if she is pushed too hard on hard ground, it subsides quickly with walking lameness off in her paddock with some bute for a day or two, otherwise light daily hacking suits her perfectly.
